Can the permissions be changed to registered (REG) instead of any?
It's weird seeing guest post and not knowing who they are :p
It'll also prolly save the forum some hassle from trolls later :)
I agree with both your points, but let me think that one over once I've had a full nights sleep. =)

My personal feeling on it is to probably request some sort of registration required to post. This will help keep the general shenanigans to a minimum and does give us some sort of idea of who we're addressing. However, guests should be able to view the forums at least.

I totally agree :)
BTW, I found this site on google :) Good work on getting it out there. I hope this forum grows to be huge :)
You win this time gadget!! <cat screeches>
Forums are all registered posters only now. If folks hit any glitches with registration, they'll have to use the contact form to get ahold of me I guess. =D
Most of the website traffic is coming in off of google, due to some passive-aggressive search engine optimization. I hope the forum gets busy too - but not TOO busy. -- The official wow forums are totally psycho. =)

What, you mean you don't want threads saying "OMG Blizzard! Paladin issues. NEED BLUE RESPONSE!!!1" ?
Or all the other tons of posters claiming stupid naming issues or how fishing is broken. Whooooeee.

Google-searching is a time-honored way of finding forums. I think I looked for "old (or maybe rusty) Blunderbuss". Your guys' forum was on the first page.
