Sunfish in Lake Everstill

I got tired of killing stupid Murlocs on the banks of Lake Everstill in the hopes that they'd drop me some sunfish in the Selling Fish (http://goblinworkshop.com/quests/selling-fish.html) quest. So, I decided to try fishing, and catch the fishes myself. However, when I tried to cast into the Lake, I was told I lacked sufficient skill. Can anyone tell me what level fishing you need to fish in Lake Everstill?

The WoW (http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/professions/fishing.html) website says you should experiment with fishing areas and find easier fishing areas close to your starting position. As a lazy Hunter, does this mean there is a good fishing hole near Anvilmar?

My favorites as an alliance were stormwind city, and off the deck of the inn in darkshore. Great starting spots and you can get rested experience while doing it. =)

Killing murlocs is faster, however. :)

For what it's worth, it looks like you need to be about a level 75 fisherman just to cast a line into Lake Everstill. And once you can do that, it takes AGES to catch a few sunfish.

I agree with Cob. It's a whole lot quicker to go and bash a few Murlocs along the South shore of the lake to get the sunfish. :cry:

I completed this quest but not by fishing for the sunfish. I to attempted fishing and ran into the same problem, my fishing skill was not high enough. The murlocks just before the town do drop the sun fish. I completed this with a high lev 20 warrior without much prob. I have a hunter lev 23 and its a close fight each time even with a pet and ranged weapons. As far as fishing skill, theres a real nice place to fish without much interference from animal attacks in Goldenshire. I can't remember the name of the lake but theres a dock there with a fishing trainer. I just stayed there for about 45 mins doing nothing but fishing and got my fishing skill up past expert. I haven't had problems being able to cast my line anywhere since (dont always catch fish). My warrior is a lev 31 soon to be 32 and his name is warthog. If your on the burning blade server send me a message and I'll look ya up and we can do some questing together.
