I have a point to make, so please bear with me; I'm going to open this thread with a brief analogy.

-------------------

I shook my head ruefully as I gazed across the vast expanse of ocean that I had just travelled across a few moments ago. It seemed a lifetime ago; myself and my aging mentor, she teaching me the scraps of priestly lore that she thought I would need to know, and I absorbing them hungrily as a starving man for knowledge.

The world tree, Teldrassil, had been the sole boundary of my existence up to this point. Now was an exciting time for me, and not a little frightening as well, for I was finally stepping outside those bounds to venture into my destiny.

But, what the shape of that destiny would take ... ?

-------------------

That brief anecdote summarizes a truism of what each individual must do at some time in his or her lives; and the sooner, the better. Each individual starts out immature, learning what's necessary to survive in the world. However, there comes a time when immaturity must end and individuals must learn how to find their destiny. This process can often take an entire lifetime, or several.

The same thing is true of the human race. We began as a group of primitive earth-men who could barely even keep themselves alive on the surface of this primordial planet. As they gained experience, and learned new technologies and strategies for surviving through their immaturity, they grew more powerful and wise.

Now, I say, the time for immaturity is over. We are at the cusp of a glorious new stage in our development, and the key to realizing our potential is twofold.

1. War must end.
2. Unity must be absolute; that is, the nations of the world must not give up their sovereignty, but on the contrary, must give up some amount of power to a central authority.

Thank you very much for your attention; I think that if the world could pay heed to these words, we would be better off. If you would like more information on what I've communicated here, the second URL provided (nicodemus_the_believer) at the bottom of this post should give additional enlightenment.
