whats better?

Hi all, new guy here.
i had a question. i have a level 29 human Pally with mining/engineering and was wondering what you guys think is the better professions for that char. should i stick with this or change to something more profitable?

Well from everything everyone says is that Pallys have a hard time doing PvP, so stick it out and throw some grenades at people! Plus who can resist sicking your exploding sheep on someone?

You are a dirty stinky Paladin, but I'll help you out anyways.

Q. What's the biggest gripe most Paladins have?

A.
Not enough DPS
No way to stop runners
No Ranged abilities


So, how does Engineering help?

Well for DPS you have:

Bombs
Goblin Mortar
Goblin Dragon Gun
Goblin Bomb Dispenser
Gnomish Death Ray


And for runners:

Gnomish Net-o-Matic Projector
Gnomish Rocket Boots
Goblin Rocket Boots
Gnomish Mind Control Cap
Goblin Rocket Helmet


Almost all of these devices are substitutes for ranged abilities too. Isn't that convenient? :)

And there are tons of other extras for you to play with as well, like pets, jumper cables, etc

What other craft will fill in the holes in the Paladin class as well? I challenge you to find one that does as well.

There isn't much in the way of 'profitable' tradeskills. You already have one of the most profitable tradeskills - mining. Just sell your ore on the AH, and you will find the cash piles up quickly! =)

Stick with engineering.

Pallies need all the help they can get, even if its from items.

Engineering can be profitable - sell your parts on AH to all the lazy Engineers, copper bolts, bronze frames, people buy them up and you can make money there. EZ-Thro Dynamite I and II both sell since they give anyone ranged attacks. Gnomish Engineering makes some awesome PvP items that will make a ton on AH.
