At the foot of the dark portal sprawls a massive, wartorn burning wasteland that is the Hellfire Peninsula. Aside from the native wildlife of two-headed vultures, and hideous ravagers, the Peninsula is dominated largely by the activities of the Burning Legion, and the corrupted Fel Orcs. The Horde and the Alliance have established base camps here in an effort to push back the legion's advance.
