The Barrens:

Level 14-15 Zone

At the heart of Kalimdor lies the Barrens - a large dry sunbeaten savannah that once was a lush forest. But in mysterious large pools new life thrives.

On the northwestern edge of the Barrens harpies nest, dwarves mine in the southwest, and goblin merchant princes make a brisk living in trade from the city of Ratchet.

At the center of the massive drylands likes the fortified Horde city of 'The Crossroads', where orcs, trolls and tauren mingle and strive against the trials of their new found homeland.
